The g2 ultra xt boasts a spacious extended vestibule and roomy two-person inner (actually big enough for three) for just a touch over 2.6 kg. Its combination of space, vestibule size and low weight are (as far as we are aware) unequalled by any other geodesic or semi-geodesic tent on today’s market. As with all the tents in our ultra range, the g2 ultra xt uses the best lightweight fabrics available, making it a reliable shelter in remote areas. While it should not be mistaken for a mountaineering tent, it is a four-season tent suitable for extended trekking in most climates and regions.

The Puppy Pile was designed for adventure racers who need an ultra-lightweight 4-season shelter in case of severe weather with a minimalist design and functionality. The shelter will fit all 4 members of your team. We don't call it the "Puppy Pile" for nothing! We even fit 8 people in sitting up! Fits 2 people very comfortably with lots of room to spare. Regardless, its only 1 lb. 9 oz ! (Including carrying bag and toggle).
* Total weight of the Puppy Pile may vary by approximately 1 oz. based on sealing and fabric variances. Could be lighter!
Fabric and Construction
The Puppy Pile pictured above is made out of silicone impregnated ripstop nylon, 30 denier high tenacity nylon with improved heat and light resistance.
• All seams are double stitched with 100% polyester thread for strength and 0% water absorption.
• We use a waterproof zipper for the opening and factory seal all seams with an appropriate sealer based on the fabric content. No need to worry about your seams, we've taken care of that for you.
• The Puppy Pile is a free-standing shelter. However it comes with six stake loops along the base of the shelter for added protection in high winds.

如此大的空间，如此结实的结构，
要做到2.6kg是非常不容易的。
它采用了它所能用到的最轻的材料，30D涂硅尼龙。
2-3人的四季帐篷，不是说没有潜力可挖了，但很有限了。
但这样的结构，很好很强大。
缺点当然，太贵了。

这顶帐篷适用于THRU-HIKE，
700G的自立帐篷，这是难以想象的。
放在背包里基本上能忽略它的存在。
介绍中说是4季帐篷，但姑且听之。
作为单层结构的局限性是明显的。
而且，单层的涂硅尼龙，没有大的气窗，
其透气性值得怀疑。
总之，
如果你是个UL爱好者，这是个宝贝。
否则，
它的缺点同样是非常突出。
舒适性不怎么样。
再补一句，
Mandatory Gear的东西大部分是瞄准THRU-HIKE用途的。 第二个帐篷貌似没有防风绳？
高度 83cm 有点矮，不过重量真好。
第一个帐篷的价钱就有点搞怪了 我不喜欢第二个

我喜欢这个，最简单的最好。 呵呵 我所谓的简单不是指结构 而是设计者的思维这样经典的形状 和bt的用料 在我看来是缺乏创造力的 探路者也出这样的单层营只是料子没有这么牛罢了
因为要超越这样的很简单 可以换成cuben的变得更轻 可以找水电的料子变得透气
设计者缺乏了自己让人难忘和赞赏的东西
