何为Ballistic Nylon（弹道尼龙）

搞了个oackly icon pack 3.0。外观很不错，面料看起来很不怎么样。150刀的东西啊，鸟包比它起来真是太厚道了
bc上写着这包的材料是Ballistic Nylon弹道尼龙。这弹道尼龙到底有什么特质？和考杜拉比怎么样？

cordura是杜邦一个系列面料的统称，既有nylon也有polyester；ballistic nylon是nylon

补充一下，弹道尼龙似乎最早是杜邦作为一种用在早期防弹衣上的材料开发的，不过其实主要是用来防弹片

Ballistic nylon is a thick, tough, synthetic nylon fabric used for a variety of applications. Ballistic nylon was originally developed by the DuPont corporation as a material for flak jackets to be worn by World War II airmen. The term ballistic nylon takes its name from the fact that it was intended to protect its wearers from flying debris and fragmentation caused by bullet or artillery shell impacts. It was not an effective defense against most pistol or rifle rounds. Ballistic nylon was succeeded by Kevlar and other, more effective, bullet resistant fabrics.
