Spectralite.60
An MLD .6oz/sq/yd weight of Cuben Fiber. Cuben Fiber laminates use unidirectional prepreg tapes of in-line plasma treated Dyneema/Spectra fibers spread to mono-filament level mylar films with titanium UV protection. After extensive testing of various weights and weaves of CF, this was the very lightest CF that retained enough strength and abrasion resistance for SUL gear. We use a special permanent adhesive tape and reinforcement patches to limit sewing that weakens the mylar substrate. Our Cuben tarp ridgelines are sewn and glued for max strength and do not require the additional weight of seam sealing. Fully waterproof in the hardest rain and can be field patched with duct tape. It's been used successfully on multiple CDT thru-hikes. Less than half the weight of Silnylon, but four times the cost. It's the cutting edge of Solo Super Ultra Light in low weight, but unfortunately, it is very pricey.

Spinntex .97
.97 oz/sq/yd silicone impregnated ripstop polyester spinnaker fabric. The silicone coating is a harder version than in the more common 1.35 Silnylon. This is the lightest and strongest fully waterproof conventional spinnaker fabric available and can withstand than the hardest rain. High tenacity nylon fibers are woven on special looms to create ripstop weave of 20d X 25d that is light and durable. It has a very low stretch and requires less curves be used in a tarp design. From 2002 to 2007 we tested over 75 lightweight spinnaker fabric and this one was IT.

.97 oz/sq/yd,  涂硅的防刮聚脂船帆材料。涂硅用的是比一般1.35 Silnylon更加的难的工艺。这是最轻最结实的全防水的三角帆材料，能找到的最具防雨能力的三角帆材料。高韧性尼龙材料用特殊织法进行编织，成为20dx25d的轻且结实的织物。它的拉伸性能很低，在天幕设计中它需要的冗余量更小。

Spinntex 1.17
1.17 oz/sq/yd silicone impregnated ripstop nylon spinnaker fabric. The silicone coating is a harder version found in the more common 1.35 Silnylon. This is a 25d X 30d weave with a tighter ripstop pattern that the Spinntex .97. Mainly used for some reinforcements

Silnylon 1.35
This 1.35 oz /sq/yd fabric is what is generally thought of as Silnylon, 1.4 silnylon, 1.1 Sil-Nylon or Silicone Impregnated Nylon and is the most common Silnylon used. A 1.1 oz /sq/yd nylon 30d X 30d ripstop weave is impregnated with a silicon polymer that cures to a soft feel and allows some stretch. Small punctures self heal to a small extent. Like the Spinntex silicone impregnated fabrics, cougar bites can be repaired easily with Silnet adhesive and a supplied matching fabric patch for a long product service life. NOTE: Complete head enclosure in any bivy sack is not recommended. Proper instruction is required and is not provided by MLD.

1.35 oz /sq/yd, 是通常意义上所说的涂硅尼龙。如1.4 silnylon, 1.1 Sil-Nylon，是最常用的涂硅尼龙。30d X 30d ripstop 的织法，并用硅脂处理，加工成柔软触感并具备一些延展性。在一定范围内小的穿刺能够自动恢复。如同Spinnte涂硅材料，美洲狮的咬痕能容易地用粘合剂修复，并且匹配的材料修补贴可延长产品的服务年限。注意：不建议把头完全包在用此材料的露营袋里，需要合适的指导但显然MLD没有提供。

Silnylon 2.0
A super tough 2 oz /sq/yd 40d X 40d ripstop nylon with more silicone impregnation and twice the strength of 1.35 Silnylon. Far tougher than 1.9 PU Coated or 70d PU coated ripstop nylon and it weighs a lot less.

2 oz /sq/yd ，超结实的40d X 40d ripstop尼龙，更多的涂硅，强度是1.35 Silnylon的2倍。远比1.9 PU 涂层和70d PU 涂层的防刮尼龙结实，重量却轻的多。

SuperGrid 2.0
A 2oz/sq/yd super tough spinnaker laminate with a diagonal reinforcement grid bonded to the base fabric. Its firm feel helps it hold shape in various applications while remaining light and durable. The laminate is translucent allowing positive ID of contents inside a Prophet Pocket.

2oz/sq/yd, 超结实的船帆材料， 基布用斜纹织物组成的格子骨架加强。在各种应用中能帮助保持形状并保持轻且结实的特性。格子是通明的允许单透看出包里的的具体东西。

70d Silicone Coated Ripstop Nylon
2.2oz/sq/yd . A 70d ripstop nylon is coated on one side with silicone. We use this for the back panel on the Prophet Pack. The relatively heavy .4oz/sq/yd of silicone coating (more than double that in 1.35 Silnylon) makes it waterproof and way strong. The uncoated nylon side feels better against the back and its low slip is a plus in the ALpine Bivy or shelter floor. Stronger and lighter than comparable 1.9oz/70d PU coated ripstop nylon.

2.2oz/sq/yd . 70d ripstop nylon, 单面涂硅。我们主要用于背包背面。相应的重 .4oz/sq/yd 的涂硅，是比1.35 Silnylon的两倍还多，使它具备良好的防水性能。未涂硅的那面触感更好，它的防滑性使它在ALpine露营袋或者帐幕地布中应用。比1.9oz/70d PU涂层的防刮尼龙更结实，更轻。

140d Spectra Grid Stop
4oz/sq/yd A "heavy weight" ripstop nylon fabric (with the ripstop pattern woven from spectra strands) that is pretty close to bombproof. A tough PU coating keeps it waterproof. Used for the bottoms and back panels in the Zip packs. Yeah, we wish there was a 100d Spectra Gridstop with silicone coating too…

4oz/sq/yd, “重量”级的防刮尼龙材料，用spectra 纱线编织的格子，非常接近结实的防弹材料。PU涂层使它防水，在背包中用于包底或者背部。我们希望能有100D的Spectra Gridstop材料，并且是涂硅的。

Momentum
1.05oz /sq/yd A 20dx20d nylon taffetta with single side heat calendering and state of the art DWR treatment. The surface is a flat black for speed drying. Also, it's made in the US. Momentum's tight weave adds to the DWR ability by virtue of the tight weave Momentum on our quilts.

1.05oz /sq/yd,  20dx20d 尼龙taffetta，单面热压并做 DWR处理。为了快干表面平黑。而且，美国制造。Momentum的致密织法增加了DWR能力，通过我们采用Momentum材料的睡袋被可以清楚表现。

和Pertex Quantum比较
Momentum和Quantum都常用于睡袋和BIVY。
比较发现他们的透气性差不多，但是Momentum具有更加好的防水性能。
基本上，Momentum是目前能找到的同类中最好的材料。当然，价格也是最高的。

和PERTEX的Quantum比较了一下，
结论是防水性能秒杀Quantum。
在类似的防水透气类睡袋材料中，Momentum是the best of the best,
但价格一样是the best of the best.
